"The specific character of faith is that it looks away from itself and finds its whole interest and object in Christ. He is the absorbing preoccupation of faith."
Yippie! I'm jumping for joy.Let's make a Mardel/Half Price run this weekend instead of going to see Superman.
I guess that the movie will be pretty interesting, just because it is directed by the X-men guy. But let's face it, is Lex Luthor the most simple and uninteresting of all comic book villians? I think that I will just stay home and watch The Incredibles again.
Egads!!I expect Justin to not want to watch Superman, but he's half mutant anyway. But Chris--The Incredibles over Superman? You might as well pop in Thomas the Train. I do agree however on Lex. The villain that has nothing but his "mastermind" to take over the world is a bit tame for these days. You typically need artificially intelligent octopus arms or a gas that drives you crazy.
It was so worth it!I loved this movie!!! Too much to go into--but I would recommend this to anybody--it's a great way to talk about Christ--the theme of "savior" was throughout the movie--and how the world needs a savior.
